Emily and Elmo

Nate and I took Emily to Elmo live at the Wells Fargo Arena. We were fortunate and go tickets in the front row. Emily got high fives from Abby Cadaby, and Grover. She got to see all of the characters enter and exit the stage. She had a blast and Nate and I really enjoyed seeing her light up with each new song. Definitely something that we plan on doing again.

Emily at Dance Camp

Emily attended a dance camp this Spring and LOVED it. She loved it so much we made the decision to enroll her for this coming fall. She learned how to point her toes, turn in a circle, march, do a somersault, and walk like a bear. She attended camp for 5 straight days in a row for an hour each day. She was tired at the end of the week but couldn't stop talking about it. She is looking forward to taking dance next year with a recital in the Spring of 2011.

Blake's Baptisim May 2nd, 2010

Blake was baptized on a beautiful Sunday in May. May 2nd at Redeemer Lutheran Church to be exact. His congregational sponsors were Jack and Jerry Herberger. His personal sponsors were Andy and Brian Allen. We had a lunch at my parents house after the church service. It was one of Pastor Anderson's last baptisms as he retired after 26 and 1/2 years at Reedeemer Lutheran shortly after Blake's baptism. We felt very honored to have Pastor baptize both Emily and Blake.

Blake's Second Month

As Winter turned into Spring the Allen family had a lot of fun. Easter was a really fun time as Emily finally figured out the annual Easter Egg hunt and turned into quite the competitor. By this time I can't imagine our life before Blake. He just completes our family so perfectly.
