We are fast approaching Emily's first birthday. She is so busy and keeps us on our toes. She loves to play peek a boo. She is cruising around all of our furniture and I am just sure she is really close to just turning away from the couch and taking off. Her two front teeth are slowly making their way down. I have felt really bad for her as these teeth seem to be giving her more trouble than the first two did. She also has started to really pay attention to all the pictures we have in our house. She likes it when we name each person in the picture. Her favorite picture to look at is of course herself. She is really starting to mimic the sounds that she hears. Some of her favorite phrases to echo are no, no, no while shaking her head, duck, da da, nana, along with many of her made up words that we can't quite figure out what she wants, although I know she knows exactly what she is saying. Emily goes back to daycare full time on Monday. She and I really enjoyed our abbreviated Summer. Even though we only had 6 weeks off, we really did a lot. I am already looking forward to next Summer. I go back to work on Monday and start with kids on Thursday. I am really excited and am sure I will have a really neat bunch of kids. Once again sorry for the delay in posts. The last several weeks have been really hectic.
